Controlled by the Media
Even if people don’t like to admit it, the media has a major impact on every decision they make. It’s hard to think that just about every choice a person makes is controlled by an outside source. The media influences some of the decisions people make everyday such…
I agree with you on one thing about the media. it doe s have an influence. But i have to disagree with the the media cotrols us. People as an individual make there own decisions, they make the choice to sit and believe what they see in front of them. they make the choice to wake up int the morning to to drive up to mcdonalds to get the breakfast meal. they make the decision to le tthe world influence them. they make the choice to believe hta they are controled. I stopped believing that when I made the descsion to get up and got to school.

Unbiased information is a dying practice in the modern world. People have become complacent in forming opinions on issues, not waiting for supporting data or using statements without information to support it. So a person hears or reads something telling them the conclusion the should reach, and…

Christopher told Vikus that he would be back for him in three years. What do you think will happen when he comes back?
i think by the time Christopher comes back, it’ll have been awhile and Vikus would probably get used to it.
I think he should come back because a promise is a promise, regardless if one is an alien and the other is a half breed.
Promise or not the guy hit him with flippin two by four! Then he tried to take off in his ship to leave him to die! Come on? Would you help the guy if it were you?

Christopher told Vikus that he would be back for him in three years. What do you think will happen when he comes back?
He said it would take three years to cure him. at least from what I understood. as far as what will christopher will do when he gets back. I wouldn’t blame him for declaring war on the human race. but I think he will save Vikus as he promised and maybe take him with him. i don’t know. It’s left in a very open area for several possible outcomes. All I know is that I would want revenge for what they did to my people too.
Anarchy vs. facism
This is based off of the movie V for vendetta. The story revolves around two key opposing forces, “anarchism vs. fascism.” These two forces have been around since before recorded history and are just brief glimpses of the leading devices that have spurred the world into its current growth. By following their history and influence on the world today it is easy to see that such a possible future may be possible if it weren’t for the current system of government we have today. An example of fascism is the old Nazi regime leader Adolf Hitler. He ruled under the belief that he was the sole leader and ruler of the entire German empire. Anything under his rule, his “Führerprinzip” was law. He along with many other fascists believed that rule should be done organically and that they should wage war in order to keep the country strong. They also hate anyone who would cannot or refuse to change their way of thinking to theirs. This is usually due to “xenophobia- The fear of foreign thoughts, beliefs, but most of all people.” It creates the possibility of social impurity. And there was no room for many beliefs and impurities in there world. If it’s not there way it’s the highway. “Anarchism is a political philosophy which considers the state undesirable, unnecessary and harmful, and instead promotes a stateless society, or anarchy. It seeks to diminish or even abolish authority in the conduct of human relations. The Oxford Companion to Philosophy says, “There is no single defining position that all anarchists hold, and those considered anarchists at best share a certain family resemblance.”” This is all the technical definition of the term. And it is pretty self explanatory. But it all comes down to the fact that several factions collect together and decide on how they want to live. All of them decide on different ways to live. Some through peace, some through self defense if and only when threatened. But it is this belief that was a direct threat to a man like Hitler as if it had caught on then he would have lost his power that much faster. The point I am driving towards is that with things in life there are two equal or opposite forces in the world that will continue to battle for supremacy. The only thing that I find comfort in is that though it isn’t considered anarchism, I have the power to tell my government officials to change for my benefit and if I don’t’ like it then I can use all of my basic freedoms and rights to make change happen through the political process.
